Message	I think its cool. So you probably would have to clear the tails and get brighter bulbs. Otherwise, I've seen some cars where it has looked cool. IMO it has to be even too, if you see too much of what's underneath it looks kind of lame. The Cop issue is a big one though because its illegal to cover the lights. Get a broken set of tails and experiment with them, see if you like them.
